The English Montreal School Board (EMSB) is the largest English language school board in Quebec serving over 34,000 students in the youth and adult sectors.
At the EMSB we are proud of our accomplishments in meeting our mission to instruct, socialize and quality our students. We are particularly proud of our language program and our graduation rate which is the highest of the five school boards in Montreal.
In recent years we have embarked on an international student program with great success. We have students from many countries and our multicultural approach has made the integration of international students much easier.
Korea has the largest number of international students at the EMSB. To assist students from Korea, we are proud to work in collaboration with Hanca Education Centre. Hanca provides a wide range of services for Korean students, including homestay and many after school activities.

“몬트리올 영어 교육청-The English Montreal School Board(EMSB)”는 캐나다 퀘백주에 있는 가장 큰 영어 교육청입니다. 저희 교육청은 정규교육과 성인교육 프로그램을 합쳐 34,000명이 넘는 학생들에게 양질의 교육서비스를 제공하고 있습니다.
몬트리올 영어교육청에서는 수준 높고 차별화된 교육 프로그램으로 양육하고, 올바른 사회성을 교육 받아 바르게 자라날 수 있도록 돕는 것을 저희의 사명으로 여기고, 이 사명을 훌륭하게 달성하고 있음에 자부심을 가지고 일을 하고 있습니다.
우리가 가장 자신 있게 학부모님들께 보여드릴 수 있는 부분은 양질의 영어 교육이 이루어 지고 있다는 것과 이 곳 몬트리올에 있는 다른 네 곳의 교육청에 비해 졸업 확률이 가장 높고 성공적으로 운영하고 있다는 것입니다.
우리가 가장 자신 있게 학부모님들께 보여드릴 수 있는 부분은 양질의 영어 교육이 이루어 지고 있다는 것과 이 곳 몬트리올에 있는 다른 네 곳의 교육청에 비해 졸업 확률이 가장 높고 성공적으로 운영하고 있다는 것입니다.
최근에 와서는 해외 유학생을 위한 교육프로그램이 성공적으로 운영되고 있습니다. 세계 여러 나라에서 오는 유학생들을 위한 자연스럽고 적응하기 쉬운 교육시스템은 학생들의 유학 생활을 더욱 즐겁고 유익하게 만들어 주고 있습니다.
현재 EMSB에는 많은 한국 유학생들이 와서 공부하고 있습니다. 우리 교육청은 한국으로부터 유학 올 학생들에게 확실한 도움을 주기 위해 “Hanna Education Centre-한카 교육원”을 자신 있게 소개해 드립니다. “한카 교육원”은 한국 유학생들에게 다양한 교육프로그램과, 기숙사 및 홈스테이 그리고, 양질의 교육, activities 서비스를 제공하고 있습니다.
